Present age is characterized by the explosion of knowledge, rapid development of technology, free flow of information, globalization of trades and learning processes. The aim of Vivekananda Science College is to promote all around development of the students by making them globally competitive with knowledge, skills and attitudes to be compatible with the changing needs of the society. In this era of economic liberalizations and technological super advancement our effort is to put quality education in the light of Vedantic Scientist and world monk Swami Vivekananda’s vision of spreading education throughout the society.
Vivekananda Science College was established by His Holiness Swami Shukdas Maharaj in August 2008 for the students specially from rural areas. It is affiliated to Saint Gadage Baba Amravati University. The college is having well qualified & experienced staff and approved Principal Dr. Kishor D. Patil. It is one of the pioneer institutes which impart quality education to the students.
The college is having well equipped laboratories developed for all departments like Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Microbiology, etc.
The college has an enriched library. Thousand of books, various types of national and international magazines, journals and news papers are available for the students in the library. It is in the process of automation.
Apart from teaching, various curricular, cultural and social activities are performed by the college.
