Vivekananda Ashram is a charitable trust founded by His Holiness Shukdas Maharaj with a motto, service to living god. As a charitable trust, we care for human resources, try to root out problems and minimize sorrows and griefs. This ashram started Vivekananda Science College in August 2008. Swami Vivekananda quotes, “Education is a manifestation of perfection already present in man. Education for Swamiji’s means that process by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased and intellect is sharpened. As a result of which one can stand on one’s own feet. His holiness Shukdas Maharaj brought this principal in society through this science college. This college is one of the pioneer institutes which impart high quality science education to the students of all areas. This college not only provides academic education but is also aims at preparing the students to stand on their own feet in this compitive world. The college offers education through advanced science subjects like Computer Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Zoology, Physics and Mathematics. It also has well equipped laboratories and rich library. Separate hostel and mess facility for boys and girls, uninterrupting power supply, broadband internet facility, etc are some of the key features of this college.
