Minutes of IQAC First meeting, Meeting Date; 03/02/2020

The first meeting of IQAC was held at 1.00 PM on 03/02/2020 in Seminar Hall. The following members were present.

The meeting started on a welcome speech by Chairperson Dr. K. D. Patil which includes basic purpose of IQAC and its function.

Dr. K. D. Patil requested all the members for open discussion on academic and administrative planning.

Agenda-1: Registration of Alumni Association of the College should be formed and it should be registered.

Agenda-2: Framing of research policies for promoting research culture and Organization of seminars/conferences/workshops. Prof. J. D. Solanki Suggested that college should organise the seminar/conferences/workshops to promote the research culture in the college.

Agenda- 3: Framing of Vision, Mission of the institute.

Dr. K. D. Patil suggested that vision, mission of the institute should be framed for setting quality benchmark. 

At the end of the meeting Coordinator of IQAC, Dr. R.S. Dhamak given the vote of thanks to all and meeting is over with a cup of tea.

The coordinator Dr. R. S. Dhamak welcomed the members for the second meeting of IQAC.

Following points were discussed in the meeting.

Agenda -1: Review of minutes of first meeting.

The minutes of the meeting held on 03/02/2020 are approved by the cell.

Agenda-2:  Action taken report on the decisions of the previous meeting.

1 Registration of the Alumni Association Principal Dr. K.D. Patil discussed this point with secretary of the Vivekanand Ashram, Shri S. T. Gore sir. Then after management has decided to take necessary steps in the registration of Alumni Association.
2 Framing of research policies

Seminars and workshops were organized in on 20 & 21th

Feb 2020. Also seminar on Zoology was organized.

3 Framing of vision and mission of the institute

The vision, mission Statements of the institution are finalized

In the month of Mау to September 2020. The statements are approved by governing body.

4 To decide the NSS activities It is planned to take NSS Camp in the nearby village. SGBAU Amravati university has approval batch of 100 students for NSS Programme.

Agenda-3: 

Dr. K. D. Patil has suggested that online seminars & conferences should be organized by the respective departments, committee agreed to organize such activities in the institute.

Agenda-4:

 Prof. A. S. Shelke proposed to organize conferences on world cancer day, which is on 4th Feb. 

Other member of the IQAC accepted this proposal unanimously.

Agenda-5:

Shri V. B. Kulwant, Joint secretary of the Vivekanand Ashram has suggested organizing professional development programs for the teaching & non-teaching members of the institute. This proposal also accepted by all committee members unanimously.

Dr. R. S. Dhamak IQAC coordinator informed the date for the next meeting and it is unanimously decided in the month of March 2021. Meeting ended with a formal vote of thanks.

Prof. J. D. Solanki suggested some valuable points.

(1) Mentor – Mentee system must be closely followed. 

 

2) Enhancing Teaching -learning Process.

(4) Development of an effective and elaborate system of feedback. 

 

5) Dr. K. D. Patil suggested the plan of action of NAAC SSR Preparation.

Enhancement of

Teaching learning

Process.

Institute has set up CCTV camera system to monitor the

Teaching of teachers. All faculty members are advised to go through Study and Preparation of the content for the lecture delivery before taking the class. Feedback from the students is taken to assess the quality of teaching. Seminars are organized for the Students to deliver 10 minutes of Talk. Group discussions of the students are organized on the important topics.

Use of ICT tools in

teaching

Few class rooms in the college are provided with LCD projector, computer with LAN and internet

Connection. Faculty members and students

Can access online e- journals, e-books from the class room.

Development of an effective and

elaborate system of feedback

Institute has developed its own system of getting multiple feedback taking decisions in the right perspective. Feedback can improve a Students Confidence, self awareness and enthusiasm for learning. Institute has implemented feedback from

3) Alumni.

5 Plan of action of NAAC Preparation. Institute has finalized the SSR for NAAC, and decided to fill up IIQA to NAAC in the month of October 2021.
6 Other suggestion from the IQAC members.

1) Results analysis of first internal test must be done and effective steps to be planned to improve the quality of teaching & learning.

2) Parent meeting should be conducted at least once in a

Year.

3) Library should purchase book on futuristic technologies for the departments.
